BECOME A BOARD MEMEBER
Becoming a board member for the Boys & Girls Club is a meaningful way to support and guide an organization dedicated to empowering youth. Board members play a vital role in shaping the Club’s mission, providing leadership, and helping ensure resources are in place to serve local children and families.
The BGCSI Board is comprised of 18 individuals who serve 3-year terms. The Board meets the third Monday of the month. The Board’s primary responsibilities include practicing fiscal responsibility; establishing and monitoring policies and procedures; supervising and supporting the Chief Executive Officer; maintaining a long-term strategic plan; and, serving as Ambassadors of the Club. Each committee is chaired by a member of the BGCSI board. Non-board members are eligible to serve on committees. If you would like to volunteer to be on a committee please contact Jenna Jamieson.
