The Social Worker provides social work services to their assigned site. These services are provided to members and member families using various social work methods, including individual, group, and family counseling. The social worker will provide psychosocial services and crisis intervention as necessary.
The primary function of this position is Front Desk security, safety, and integrity of Club access, which includes Club members, families, staff, board members, visitors, volunteers, donors, and community members, etc. This position is also responsible for membership enrollment, member check-in/out, membership data maintenance, and customer service.
The primary function of this position is to develop and deliver programs for K-12 youth in one or more areas of the Core Program structure of the Boys & Girls Club, including Character & Leadership Development; Education & Career Development; Health & Life Skills; The Arts; Sports, Fitness & Recreation; and Service Learning. This position will assist with overall supervision of Club members and participate in the creation of a safe, positive, engaging, and team-oriented Club atmosphere.
The primary function of the Recreation Youth Development Professional is to oversee all aspects of the Club Recreation Program delivery including activity design, scheduling, staff training, administrative requirements, building and equipment care, customer service, data collection, and other duties.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois will host an exciting Family Fun Night on Wednesday, September 22nd from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. This evening will give the children, families and the community a night to interact and learn more about what BGCSI has to offer.
