Giving Statement

It is often said, “It takes a village to raise a child.” It’s true for a Boys & Girls Club, too. It takes a village to sustain services that benefit hundreds of “children who need us most”, and we need your help. If you are willing to care for and invest in kids, there are a number of ways you can assist.

All volunteers must:
• Complete a volunteer application.
• Complete a background check form ($15 fee and good for one year).
• Participate in a volunteer orientation.
• Provide two references.

Internship

Potential Interns:

HOW TO

Become a Board Member/ Committee Member

The BGCSI Board is comprised of 18 individuals who serve 3-year terms. The Board meets the third Monday of the month. The Board’s primary responsibilities include practicing fiscal responsibility; establishing and monitoring policies and procedures; supervising and supporting the Chief Executive Officer; maintaining a long-term strategic plan; and, serving as Ambassadors of the Club. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please contact Jenna Jamieson.

Each committee is chaired by a member of the BGCSI board. Non-board members are eligible to serve on committees. If you would like to volunteer to be on a committee please contact Jenna Jamieson.
