Triple Play is a health and wellness initiative that strives to improve the overall health of members by increasing the daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.
Triple Play – Body
Daily challenges incorporates key youth development practices such as community builders and reflection activities that help enhance program outcomes for youth, regardless of program content. The ‘Body’ Component promotes becoming more physically activity through a variety of games, cooperative activities, and sports that develop a young person’s ability, confidence and motivation to be physically fit.
Triple Play – Mind
Healthy Habits is the ‘Mind’ component of the Triple Play program. Healthy Habits focuses on making choices that support a healthy eating pattern and physical wellness. This program is made up of interactive practical activities that develop youth’s ability, confidence and motivation to eating healthy for life.
Triple Play – South
Social Recreation is the ‘Soul’ component of the Triple Play program. Social Recreation activities are critical to positive youth development. This program builds the skills youth need to make healthy choices through cooperative, group based activities that develop confidence in themselves and connections to others.
