PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

In order to have the best programs and service to the youth and our community, staff development is key. Many opportunities are offered through Boys and Girls Club of America at minimal cost (i.e., $50.00 and/or hotel provided), however we must get staff to the training site, often in Atlanta. Therefore, travel costs range from $200 – $500, depending on location. Training opportunities offered are: Finance and HR Director’s Academy; Club Director’s Academy; Youth Development Professional Institute (line staff); Midwest Conference, Area Council, Youth of the Year, and so much more!

MEMBER
T-SHIRT SPONSORSHIP

Our members spend time in the community for many reasons including service projects; events (i.e., Light’s Fantastic Parade); field trips; college career days; tours, etc. We are wanting to have strong visibility when our youth are in the community learning and being strong role models for other youth. Club shirts help with the visibility. As a sponsor, your logo can be placed on the t-shirt. Shirts are at a low-cost thanks to the support of local t-shirt vendors, at $6.00 each. Recognition on website, Facebook and Instagram, wherever the youth go and window cling.

Amount of support is decided by the business.
